Ansi du Plessis is a Narrative specialist and Leadership Coach who features in the “Who’s Who of Women in the World”. She is recognized nationally and internationally for her ability to use the power of art, music, story-telling and other creative tools in her workshops to enhance the learning experience. C.E.O. Magazine has featured her work in two of their publications and she has successfully coached many senior executives to harness their genetic brain organization to reach their potential. Her doctorate looked at productivity under normal and stress situations, taking genetics into consideration.

Her Leadership Coaching is based on her extensive research on human needs and behavior which has led to the development of a new Human Motivational model showing the correlation between motivation and productivity. Dr Ansi has lectured at the University of Potchefstroom on predicting behaviour under normal and stress related conditions and at the University of Bloemfontein on the dynamics of teams. Combining the above research, and taking cognisance of the unique genetic brain organization and preferred team roles, she steers executives on a journey of discovery and insight.. Dr Ansi also uses unique tools to guide her protégés through a creative learning experience which assists the individual to grow at an amazing pace.

Her “life” journey of personal and professional people development supports her coaching techniques. This allows her to impart the experience and knowledge on to clients to meet the challenges life presents and assist individuals raise the quality of their life inside and outside of the work and business environment

The major breakthroughs that her delegates experience whilst attending her “University of Life” mentoring interventions, Leadership Coaching workshops and other related courses, have made her one of the most sought after facilitators not only in South Africa where she lives in Fourways, but also in the rest of Africa and Europe. Proving especially popular is the very unique Team Dynamics and Strategy intervention (still part and parcel of the “University of Life” study course, incorporating right brain creative solutions to challenges being faced by Team Leaders and Executives alike). Her team also facilitated, as a community project, at the National Dialogue for Women at the University of Pretoria.

Her tenure as General Manager: Strategic Human Resources at Highland Print and Executive Advisor : Development at Toyota South Africa during the 1980/s and 1990’s has given her the added advantage of understanding corporate politics and strategy enabling her to weave this into her interventions. Performance management and personal development therapy sessions are added from an employee wellness point of view to assist companies to boost the bottom line from a productivity point of view.
Her first book “Synchronicity” is nearing completion and the second one called “The Essence of me” is also well on its way.
